Faith’s paintings are a fluid and luminous flow of layers of oil paint and mixed media liquid surfaces juxtaposed with the sediment from what was there before. The paintings suggest states of constant flux, with movement of layers upon layers of materials. Risk is vital within her work; she is never afraid of risking a good painting to get to a great painting.
